Financial Performance and Profitability
Blue Water Logistics reported an exceptional financial performance for the quarter ended June 30, 2026. Revenue from operations stood at ₹211.2 crore, up from ₹50.9 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year. EBITDA grew by 259.6% YoY to reach ₹23.6 crore, maintaining a margin of 11.2%.
The company's Profit After Tax (PAT) increased nearly four-fold to ₹14 crore, resulting in a PAT margin of 6.6%. Management noted that the growth was volume-led rather than just price-led, reflecting a broader scale of operations across its domestic branch network.
Segmental Growth and Asset Utilization
- Ocean Freight: Remained the cornerstone of operations, contributing 70% of revenue with a 29% sequential volume increase over Q4 FY26.
- Air Freight: Contributed 21% of revenue; management believes this segment will play a critical role in diversifying the revenue mix.
- NVOCC: Volume grew to 1,313 TEUs, up 119% YoY, as the company expands its ISO tank container fleet.
- Fleet Status: The current fleet comprises 1,708 ISO tank containers and over 100 container trailers, primarily operated on a lease-purchase model.
Strategic Roadmap and International Expansion
The company is executing an aggressive expansion strategy, recently opening new branches in Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Indore, Tada, and Nellore. Management intends to replicate the previous year's momentum to target a total revenue of ₹800 crore for FY27. Looking ahead, Blue Water Logistics is focused on establishing an international footprint across fast-growing trade hubs including Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, and China.
To support this growth, the company plans to raise an additional ₹100 crore in bank debt during the current financial year, which could bring total debt to approximately ₹200 crore.
Operational Commentary
This performance reflects the scale at which our business is now operating, establishing a stronger base from which we expect to build further growth in the coming quarters.
