What we publish

ALFA Finder News reports material disclosures made by companies listed on the National Stock Exchange of India (NSE) and BSE Ltd. When a listed company files an announcement with an exchange — an order win, a fund raise, a capacity expansion, a regulatory approval, a product launch, the start of production, or a set of quarterly results — we report what it says, what the numbers are, and link the original document.

We are a filings desk, not a tips service. We do not publish price targets, buy or sell calls, or forecasts of where a share price will go. Everything we publish is traceable to a document any reader can open for themselves.

Why we exist

Indian exchange filings are public the moment they are filed, but they are not readable. They arrive as scanned PDFs, in inconsistent formats, at a rate of thousands per day, buried in exchange portals that are not built for reading. The material ones are indistinguishable from the routine ones until somebody opens them.

ALFA Finder News exists to close that gap: to find the filings that matter within seconds of disclosure, and to turn them into something a reader can actually understand.

How fast we are

Our monitoring system watches NSE and BSE continuously and detects new filings within seconds of them being served. Alerts to subscribers of our parent product typically go out in single-digit seconds. News articles take longer, because they involve reading the document, extracting the figures and writing them up — those are typically published within minutes of the filing.

We publish the exact publication time, to the minute, on every article. If we were slow on a story, the timestamp says so.

Where our information comes from

• The filing itself. Every article is written from the original NSE or BSE disclosure, which is linked on the article page.
• Company statements. Where a company includes a quote or a press release with its filing, we quote it and attribute it.
• Financial context. Market capitalisation, revenue, profit, P/E, holding patterns and similar reference figures are sourced from Trendlyne. These are stated as sourced third-party data, not as our own calculations.

We do not rewrite other news outlets' reporting. If a story reaches us any way other than the primary filing, we say so in the article.

How the newsroom works

ALFA Finder News is an automation-assisted newsroom, and we say so plainly rather than hiding it. Detection, classification, extraction and the first draft are produced by our own software. Our Editorial Policy sets out exactly which steps are automated, which are reviewed, and what checks a story has to pass before it publishes.

ALFA Finder News is not registered with the Securities and Exchange Board of India as a Research Analyst or an Investment Adviser. Nothing we publish is investment advice, a recommendation, or an offer to buy or sell any security.
