What Is the Order?
The Advance Work Order (AWO) involves the Odisha Telecom Circle portion of India's flagship BharatNet Middle Mile Network. Creative Newtech, alongside its consortium partner, will execute a comprehensive scope covering the design, supply, construction, installation, and upgradation of the network. The project is expected to be completed within a three-year window, subject to the fulfillment of terms and the issuance of route-wise work orders.
Beyond construction, the consortium is tasked with the long-term Operation and Maintenance of the infrastructure, which aims to improve digital access for rural citizens and businesses through a new ring topology and a State Network Operations Centre.
Business Impact
This project represents a transformative leap for Creative Newtech, as the total contract value is more than triple the company's current market capitalization. The multi-year execution phase provides high revenue visibility through 2029, while the maintenance component introduces potential for recurring revenue over the engagement lifecycle. By securing this contract, the company deepens its presence in large-scale public sector technology programs and strengthens its capabilities in infrastructure deployment.
This move also signals a strategic expansion into high-value digital infrastructure domains, including AI, IoT, and data center connectivity, which are critical for the next layer of India's digital backbone.

Financial Context
Creative Newtech enters this project with strong financial momentum, having reported a TTM operating revenue of ₹2,704.62 crore and an annual net profit growth of 52.12%. The company’s recent quarterly performance showed an 83.17% YoY increase in revenue, significantly outpacing the sector average.
