Order Details and Timeline
Diamond Power Infrastructure has been awarded a domestic contract worth ₹435,71,13,171 to supply High Tension (HT) and Low Tension (LT) power cables. This order supports the development of the 310 MW HYD22 to HYD26 Data Center Projects located in Hyderabad, Telangana. The project scope encompasses approximately 21.35 lakh meters of cables in aggregate, comprising 1.89 lakh meters of HT cables and 19.45 lakh meters of LT cables.
Deliveries are scheduled to commence in the first week of August 2026, with the entire order expected to be fulfilled in a staggered manner by March 2027.

- Larsen & Toubro Ltd is the awarding entity for the HYD22 and HYD23 phases of the project
- Sterling and Wilson Ltd is responsible for the HYD24 and HYD25 infrastructure segments

This contract represents one of the largest single cable supply orders in India's data center segment, reinforcing Diamond Power Infrastructure's position as a preferred supplier for mission-critical digital infrastructure. The company has reported significant growth, with TTM operating revenue reaching ₹1,910.1 crore and a net profit increase of 358.49% annually. By securing this ₹435.71 crore order, which represents roughly 22.8% of its annual operating revenue, the company ensures high capacity utilisation and revenue visibility through the end of the 2027 fiscal year.

India's data center capacity is projected to grow 30% in 2026, reaching 4–5 GW by 2030, driven by AI-accelerated demand. This build-out is creating a multi-billion rupee demand wave for high-specification products such as LSZH/FRLS and fire-survival cables. Industry estimates place the total wires and cables opportunity from India's data center EPC pipeline at approximately ₹4,600 crore through FY30.
Hyderabad, where this project is based, continues to emerge as a primary hub alongside Mumbai and Chennai due to robust power infrastructure and favorable regional policies.
