Industry Tailwinds in Railway Signalling
The Indian railway sector is undergoing a massive digital transformation, with the Ministry of Railways prioritizing the replacement of legacy signalling systems with modern Electronic Interlocking and Automatic Train Protection technologies. This shift is driven by the need for enhanced safety and higher track throughput. As a domestic government entity project, this Eastern Railway order aligns with the broader national objective of modernizing suburban rail networks.
Companies in the heavy electrical and signalling space are seeing increased tender volumes as the government accelerates capital expenditure to meet modernization targets defined in the National Rail Plan.
