The Product — What It Is
Bodycam UEFN is an official adaptation of the tactical shooter franchise, specifically engineered for the Fortnite ecosystem using Unreal Editor for Fortnite. It replicates the signature body-camera perspective and intense close-quarters combat of the original PC title. At launch, the experience includes the Russian Building environment, a recognizable map featuring high-fidelity visuals and fast-paced tactical gameplay.
Players can access the island using a specific island code or through the Fortnite Discover tab. The game incorporates long-term progression systems, allowing users to climb ranks, unlock weapons, and earn rewards through regular participation in its three primary multiplayer modes.
Strategic Fit
This launch represents Nazara's first major build inside Fortnite, which the company identifies as one of the world's largest discovery platforms for gaming content. By leveraging UEFN, Nazara aims to demonstrate the viability of the platform for hosting premium-quality first-person shooter experiences. The partnership with Reissad Studio and Virstate allows Nazara to lead the publishing and development of the IP within this ecosystem while the original studio focuses on the PC version.
This move aligns with Nazara's broader strategy of building a global gaming platform through strong intellectual property, publishing capabilities, and presence in major user-generated content environments.

For the trailing twelve months, the company recorded an operating revenue of 1,758.98 crore, although it reported a TTM net loss of 52.47 crore. Despite recent quarterly fluctuations, including a net loss of 79.92 crore in the June 2026 quarter, the company has seen significant annual growth, with revenue increasing 79.11 percent year-on-year.

Industry Context
The gaming industry is increasingly shifting toward user-generated content platforms like Fortnite and Roblox, which serve as massive hubs for player discovery. Using Unreal Editor for Fortnite allows developers to create high-fidelity experiences that were previously restricted to standalone releases. This trend enables established IPs to expand their reach to a younger, more diverse audience without requiring a full standalone development cycle.
As Unreal Engine 6 approaches, the industry is focusing on programming languages like Verse to enhance interactivity. Nazara's entry into this space positions it to capitalize on the scalability and cross-platform accessibility offered by these evolving digital ecosystems.
