Oneindig Technologies Limited has formalised a collaboration with Amritdev Renewable Energy Private Limited to develop and supply electricity from a 4.8 MW solar facility. Located in Gazipur, Fatehpur, the electricity generated will be fed into the local substation. The agreement outlines a specific consideration of ₹13,00,000 per MW, payable for the acquisition of the project portfolio.
This arrangement is subject to satisfactory due diligence and the execution of definitive agreements. The project is strategically aligned with the PM-KUSUM Component-2 scheme, which encourages the installation of small solar power plants on farmers' lands to improve rural energy access.
Operational Framework
The agreement establishes a clear operational timeline, requiring land lease completion for the site within 30 days of signing definitive agreements. Amritdev Renewable Energy, acting as the PPA provider, is responsible for ensuring all leasing processes are finished without additional charges to Oneindig. Furthermore, critical regulatory hurdles have already been addressed, with necessary approvals for cable crossings secured from the National Highways Authority of India and the Railway department.
This framework allows Oneindig to leverage its established sales teams and industry relationships to lead marketing and business development efforts for these collaborative renewable projects.
